New Year..New Me

Well 2010 is coming to an end! I can't believe it! This has probably been not the greatest year of my life....but I still had lots of fun that I wouldn't ever want to give up, so it was worth it :) I am excited to see what 2011 brings me.....maybe a new job...a puppy....a husband.....I will be happy with whatever the Lord blesses me with...hopefully one of those things (not the puppy! ha ha)

I want to change so many things to be better and I hope that I can do it! One of the things I want to be better at is writing on this blog!! ha ha So we shall see and hopefully you all will be able to read about the changes I want to make and any love stories that I have! ha ha ha

1920's Rock!!!

So I went on a date the other night to a murder mystery dinner! It was my first one ever and it was a blast :) Luckily I have awesome friends who hooked me up with some clothes for the big event! I want you all to know that I was not the murderer! I did drink a lot of orange Fanta, which is one of the very few times since the mission. I am beginning to like it again! ha ha

A new beginning

So it has been a very long time since I last posted!! But I will try and remember to write more often.

This last little while has been a crazy time in my life! Without to many details.....I am very hopeful for a change in the near future....we shall see :)

So here it is......people have been asking me to post something new on the blog and I am sorry it has taken so long for me to do something about it! ha ha

So life has been a whirlwind as of late. I had the blessing of having an interview for a job that sounded great to me....well there is always time for a first....I was told I had TOO much education for the job. My first reaction....what????? Then as I have thought about what they said, I am so grateful for the honesty and there willingness to help me find something better. There aren't too many people willing to do that, so I am grateful for the experience.

I also learned another lesson from this....for the first time since my mission I feel like I am on the right path to what I need to be doing with my life. The post-mission life has been somewhat difficult, more so then I believed it would be, but vale la pena! I have learned so much for the horrible, to the crazy, to the happiest times and I am going to make it!!! Life is such a blessing and I want to make the most of it and not dwell on what could have been and instead think of what I can do now!

My newest craze

So lately I have been fascinated with the novels of Jane Austen! I find myself thinking about her characters and how I can totally relate to them. So I have decided that I must feed this new addiction with watching Northanger Abbey and Mansfield Park....and if I get really ambitious maybe I will actually read the books. I absolutely love Pride and Prejudice and I think it is a toss up as to who I have a bigger crush on Darcy or Gilbert Blythe from Anne of Green Gables :) I know there has to be a guy out there that has some of what these two men have. Charming, witty, romantic, and even there weaknesses make them all the more likable. Sigh....Wherefore art thou???

Getting started

So I am new to the blogging world......so wish me luck! When I came home from my mission and everyone was talking about so and so's blog or asking me if had read so and so's blog....I was like "When did that get popular?" lol So it took me a year to get on board with it, but I did finally start :) So I hope you enjoy what I have to say about Growing into Me!!
